What kind of mascara and/or eyeshadow to make your eyes look bigger?

There is a trick to making your eyes look bigger, but you need to practice to get it right.

Get WHITE eyeliner. Yes, it is out there. Put the white eyeliner as close to the lash line as possible. Then, take a black or brown liquid eyeliner (or whatever color you want) and apply it over the white, so just a TINY bit of the white peeks out from under the liquid eyeliner. Apply your mascara as usual, and don't worry about people being able to see the white eyeliner.. If you've done it right and then applied the mascara, it will just serve to create the right illusion of big eyes.

Too many people put their eyeliner on very close to the lashline and this can actually make the eyes look smaller. Same with lining the corners of the eyes. You don't want to connect the top lid eyeliner to the bottom lid eyeliner at the corners of the eyes as this will have the effect of 'closing in' the eye.

As far as mascara goes, I suggest using a curler because that also creates the illusion of more 'open' eyes. What kind of mascara and/or eyeshadow to make your eyes look bigger?
Brighter colors will make your eyes look bigger.

You know how you wear black to make you look slimmer? Well black eyeliner does the same thing. Try purple, green or blue.. eyeliner and if your not that brave. Just use some clear mascara. It will put the definition in your lashes with out the color. What kind of mascara and/or eyeshadow to make your eyes look bigger?
There are many great brands, anything from Great Lash to Two-Faced.

I love using Two-Faced Lash Injection mascara and their duo eyeshadow compact. Its HOW you apply the makeup that matters. I suggest you go online and learn the basics of applying eye makeup to get the result you desire.
I have been struggling with this too, but have finally figured it out. I am not too experienced with eye shadow, but Ive found that not too dark of a color works well if you're trying to create a bigger eye.

However, I swear to you that either lash exact my maybeline or telescopic (or something like it..gold tube ) by loreal really does the trick. I swear by these. They really expand your lashes, but the lash exact does dry quick, so when you do multiple coats, you cant wait too long. And if you're fair skinned like me, and depending on your colors, black can really make eyes look so small, but dark brown can really enhance....

Also, a good and light (liquid) undereye concealer is really important.
Mascara are really great, you can go natural or dramatic. Whatever you do, apply the mascara starting from the outside corner of the eye and than the inside corner (closer to nose), than do the middle. This helps spread the lashes in each zone making the eyes look bigger. When you apply the bottom lashes, stroke downward instead of lefting the lower lashes. Now to enlarge eye, take a highlighter (white eye pencil) and apply it on the inner line of the lower lashes. This extend the eye white. As for eye shadow, you can apply a light color, medium and than dark, do not extend shadow beyond crease. In other words, when you open your eye, you should see bigger eyes with almost no eye shadow showing. When you close you eyes, you will notice the beautiful application. This really works.

Go to www.yohpotterspa.com and check the pictures. Also check www.boticacosmetics.com for great makeup. Great for allergies too. This is the only make up I use on myself and clients. They always come back and buy it. I've worked in cosmetics for years with some of the big guys, and this is quality period. My friend, who worked for MAC for years, told me as much as she love MAC, this is an easy switch for her. She use it during a fashion show and begin hooked. Hope this helps girl.
Very black mascara, from GREATLASH.

And brownish eyeshadow.
Mascara--Max Factor 1000 Calorie Mascara is the best.

Heat your eyelash curler and put on lots of layer of mascara and white eye shadow on your brow bone and white eye liner on ur bottom water line and the inner corners of your eyes,
Use a darker shade of shadow on the crease than you use on your eyelid. I love love love Clinique High-Impact mascara!
