What can I use to make eyeshadow last longer?

I've heard you can put chapstick or vaseline on your eyelids before you apply the eyeshadow, but do they really work? Is there anything else that works better? Or something I can buy so that my eyeshadow will stay on longer and not clump in the crease, you know?What can I use to make eyeshadow last longer?
It works. Trust me. My eyeshadow lasts until the next MORNING if I don't wash it off. Just get some cheap Chapstick JUST for your eyelids, rub it on, and put on your powder eyeshadow. Make sure you put it on AFTER you put on eyeliner though. It works REALLY well, too. And, if you're lazy, you can just put on the Chapstick, and it makes your eyes look bigger. Hope this helps.





MAC also makes eyeshadow bases, but they're horribly expensive. I just use 79 cent Chapstick, and it makes the color stay and look more vibrant. It's the perfect beauty secret. :)What can I use to make eyeshadow last longer?
Instead of that, use a eyeshadow base (usually a creamy eyeshadow base that goes on your eyelid before applying eyeshadow) makes it last all day. U can also use a concealer as a eyeshadow base.

vaseline and chapstick, that will just maeke it look clumpy and eww! the best thing to do is to take face powder and put it over your lid or wherever ur putting the shadpw then apply the eye shadow and it will makeit last much longer... good luck!
instead of putting thst sticky stuff, you can just put some liquid makeup, it will work just as good
i don't wear eyeshadow everyday, but when i do i just use foundation as a shadow primer. i've never run into the whole creased eyeshadow issue, so i guess that it works for me.
Ew, that's gross. Don't do that. But try usng primer. I suggest Urban Decay's Primer Potion at Sephora. I think its about fifteen bucks but its totally worth it. All you do is just put it on your eyelids before putting on your eyeshadow. It keeps it on all day long and it doesn't even fade. :] You can use it too for like foundation and stuff. :]
put foundation on your eyelids . It acts like a glue and only comes off with soap and water!
vaseline and stuff like that makes it look sleek and shimmery. if you want it to last longer, put concealer on your eye before appplying the eyeshadow. it will last longer and not smudge. :)
