My eyeshadow never stays on! It always comes off and just looks brown. I even put a neutral cream eyeshadow underneath %26amp; it only helps a little. I even put on a little more but it still comes off somehow! But I can't put too much on b/c then it will look bad in the morning.
Help!!How do you make eyeshadow stay on longer?
use a makeup base (like you would on your face) but use it on your eyes, too. i do that and my makeup lasts all day!How do you make eyeshadow stay on longer?
Just put powder on your eye lids before you apply your eyeshadow :)
There are a couple different way to make it stay on longer. You can either get a ';primer'; %26amp; apply it to your eyelids and above them a little. MAC %26amp; Estee Lauder both have them, but they are expensive. What I usually do because I think it works just as well is apply a thin layer of foundation to the lid %26amp; wherever else you put on your eyeshadow, and it really makes a difference!
I ususally put some blush over my lids after using the blush on cheeks or use a little powder, to make wure there is no moisture to cause it to crease and help seal it.
put foundation on your eyes.
an eye primer / paint
theyy work 4 me =D
hope this helps=D
MAC has a stick for that called a beiging stick. you roll it on %26amp; then apply your shadows. its not sticky or anything %26amp; it prevents creases %26amp; fading. works great! mine was around $20 i think from a MAC store in the mall.
Urban Decay Primer Potion at Sephora
whatever you decide good luck...ive tried the primers (mac, elizabeth arden, several from salons), the foundations, the powders. ive talked to makeup artists i work with, ive had makeup artists work on me....and my eyeshadow just wont stay on. ever.
it creases up them glops off.
the best advice i received--and what worked best--was to apply the eyeshadow with a wet sponge. its hard--and a pain--but it worked the best.
most primers contain oil so why would they even work very well??
yeah, i heard that applying liquid foundation on th eye lid works as a terrific primer for eye shadow
