How to make eyeshadow last longer?

My eyeshadow only lasts about two hours after I apply it.


I use covergirl brand eyeshadow in onyx.





Any tips on making sure it lasts all day, or not even all day.. just longer than two flippin' hours?!

there are a lot of primers.. all brands have it :)


and the products i listed are above 10 if you dont mind spending a few extra bucks


but you can find a bunch of cheap and GOOD primers at drugstores or target or walmart etc





these primers will keep your eyeshadow on for like 8 hours
i used to have the same exact problem and it was so annoying!!! what i find that works amazing is eye primer and its pretty hard to find at drugstores but you can get it very cheap at http://www.eyeslipsface.com/studio/eye_primer_%26amp;_liner_sealer hope this helps! :)
Use concealer as a base on the entire area where you're going to put eyeshadow. And use a liquid foundation on just that area. It creates hold.
get the applicator wet, then put eyeshadow on it and put it on. works great :)

You can use an eye shadow base. They make all the difference. I recommend MAC or Urban Decay for a good one.
i use a cream eyeshadow for a base and that helps to make the powder stick

Bare Minerals, eyelid primer. Stays on all day!
you need a primer. i use too faced shadow insurance and it works amazing. over 24 hours :D while urban decay primer potion lasts about 12 hours for me.





if you dont want to spend an extra 17 dollars, you can just use concealer (or if your concealer is a powder, mix it with a lil moisturizer to make a paste). it'll hold about 6+ hours
