How can I make my eyeshadow last?

I always find that eyeshadow fades after about an hour, leaving my eyes looking really messy. I use /fairly/ good quality stuff - Barry M Dazzle Dust, Urban Decay and Pop, but nothing seems to really stay.

Any tips? How can I make my eyeshadow last?
try a creamshadow, those tend to stay longer than powderHow can I make my eyeshadow last?
I have found that the cream eye shadows work best for me. They blend easier using your fingertip for better control and the colors stay truer. They are also easier to remove. Try Revlon. I like it, but wish they wouldn't repeat the same colors mostly in the pallets. The price is pretty decent too.
try using a primer such as mac prep and prime eye. also use colours with a high pigment. mac are great for this so are fardells.
try useing a cream or what i use ';touch tint for eyes'; like gold to put under your eye shadow then use your normal eye shadow. it gives it a little bit of glitter and it keeps your eye shadow on longer.

i got mine from CLINIQUE its worth every penny
you need to use a eye base cream underneath first and then apply eyeshadow.
put vaseline over it...grease galore!
get them wet before you put them on!
Try using Clinique Touch Base for Eyes. It helps to ';set'; your eye makeup. Because I have oily skin, I've tried all different types of oil controllers, bases and powders. Touch Base also helps to keep your eyeliner from smudging.

Best wishes!
Use foundation over eyelids first. Works for me!
after i put my makeup on i spray on some hairspray on my face it makes your makeup stay on alot longer, but dont put on to much or itll make your face feel hard and suck your lips in when you do it or youll have a nasty taste.
put concealer on underneath then put on powder eye shadow!
Dust translucent power over your eyes once finished (before mascara though), this will help set your makeup. It can be used all over your face to help seal foundation too.
put foundation on your eyes before you put your eye shadow on
In the olden days blah blah they used to use cream eye shadow and then put the powder shadow over the top.

Dont know if thats possible to do these day as have no idea what's in the market at present.

Over done and obvious is not the way to go tho and if you're clever no-one will know u r wearing both

Good luck!!!
By Benefits FY eye eye shadow base its great... if not a dab of concelor on the eyelids should help! x
put cover-up or foundation on before you apply your eyeshadow
you need to use an eye shadow base this will work wonders try FY eye from Benefit
Never use eye shadow on it's on. it fades too fast from all the blinking we do. Use a good eye shadow base before you make up your eyes. I use Benefit's FYeye. and my shadow looks ';just put on'; after a 12 hour day! You can use it for any shadow form, powder, cream or pencil.

my eye shadow lasts because i put on a light color all over my eye lid and then i apply my regular color.. the color stays on ALL DAY LONG!!! hope this helps.
An eyeshadow primer may help. Benefit do one called FY...eye, I've never used it myself though but do use other Benefit products.

I brush over my eyelids with a spare blusher brush (no blusher on it though) or something before applying eye make up to get rid of any grease so my eyelids are nice and matte which I find helps.
my mom dips it in water what u do is get the brush u put it on with dip it in water then the eyeshadow and tada your eyeshadow will stay on for a long time i promise
I have heard to put foundation on your eyelid before you put the eyeshadow on because then it has something to stick on.
